More Patients Are Choosing Urgent Care Centers, Creating Challenges and Opportunities for Traditional Healthcare Providers

In its 2018 industry report, the Urgent Care Association noted: "Urgent care centers emerged largely as a physician or physician-group strategy." By 2014, physicians and hospitals owned about an equal share of the urgent care center market, at 40% and 37%, respectively. Today's urgent care centers are being urged to turn to solutions that enable a common identity, transparency, and high performance.
